Ionia County News, 6 Jan 1938

Mrs. Isadora N. Sullivan, 83, died Sunday morning at the home of her daughter, 
Mrs. Samuel Velte, in Lake Odessa.  She was born January 7, 1853, in Johnstown, 
Ohio, and on January 12, 1873, she married Cornelius Sullivan.  Mrs. Sullivan 
lived in Ionia county nearly all her life, and a few years after her husband’s 
death in 1918, she made her home at Lake Odessa.  Funeral services were held at 
the home, Tuesday afternoon at two o’clock, with Rev. L. W. Manning 
officiating.  Mrs. Sullivan is survived by four sons and four daughters,  Mrs. 
James L. Murray of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Louise Burman of Salt Lake City, Utah, 
Mrs. Mildred Brayton of Indianapolis, Ind., Mrs. Samuel Velte of Lake Odessa, 
William G. Sullivan of Dayton, Ohio, Phillip M. Sullivan of Grand Rapids, and 
Con and John Sullivan of Ionia.
