Mr. Sullivan was born Sept. 9, 1929, in Evanston, Ill., the son of Agnes and John Sullivan Sr. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict and was retired from Smith-Klein-Beechman Pharmaceutical. He was manager of the Valley Springs Mobile Home Park and Laundry in Potterville. He is survived by his fiancée, Joyce McCrumb; two sons, John Sullivan III of Austin , Texas, and Brian Sullivan of Anchorage, Alaska; one daughter, Susan Sullivan Yvanovich of Santa Crux, Calif.; his fiancee’s children, Michael McCrumb of Atlanta, Ga., Dr. Michelle Segel of Martha’s Vineyard, Mass., and Lynette Brown of Portland; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Nancy Troilo and Patricia Kelly, both of San Antonio, Texas. Services were held April 21 at the Neller Funeral Home, Portland, with the Rev. Stanley Finkbeiner officiating. Interment was in Portland Cemetery.
