The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 5, 1932


Edward Sullivan, of Portland, died Saturday afternoon from a disease for which 
he had submitted to a major operation several months ago.  The funeral service 
was held Tuesday morning in St. Patrick church, Portland.

He was a native of Hubbardston, born there in 1877.  He came to the vicinity of 
Portland in 1807 and lived for a time at Collins.  Recent years he had been 
employed on the township and county roads.  He leaves the widow and three sons, 
Raymond, Ronald and Roger, all of Portland.
