The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, February 29, 1956


Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Boynton 
funeral home for John L. Sullivan, who died Sunday.  The Rev. Heath Goodwin 
officiated and interment was at Clarksville cemetery.

Bearers were William Franch, Anthony Balice, Frank Gazella, Frank Sharpe, Tom 
Cusack and Max Koss.

Out of town attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth 
Sullivan, John Sullivan, James Sullivan, Mary Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius 
Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Sullivan, Mrs. William Sullivan, Mr. and Mrs. 
Donald Murray, Mrs. Edith Murray, Mrs. Jo Ellen Miller, Mrs. Helen Jenkins, 
Edgar Strong, Miss Marcia Strong, all of Grand Rapids, Mr. and Mrs. Merle 
Rosenberg of Alto, Larry Rosenberg of Fort Knox, Kentucky, Mr. and Mrs. Elwood 
Sullivan and Michael Sullivan of Centreville, Thomas J. Sullivan of Washington, 
D.C., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Allen of Lyons, Mr. and Mrs. Irving Mischler of St. 
Johns, Mr. and Mrs. George Beckler of Lake Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Haight 
of Detroit, Mrs. Grace Velte of Saginaw, Mrs. Julia Fiter, Miss Ilene Sullivan,
