She was born in Lowell and moved to Ionia with her parents when a small child. She was a dressmaker in Ionia for many years and had been employed in the Carten store. For the past thirty years she had made her home in Chicago. She was the last member of a family of four brothers and two sisters. A sister, Mrs. Sarah Werner, preceded her in death in December, 1942. She is survived by a niece, Mrs. Archie Boltz, of Ionia. The body will arrive in Ionia Saturday and burial services will be conducted at the grave in Oak Hill cemetery. Rev. George Woolcock, pastor of the First Baptist church, will officiate at 2 o’clock.
