Summ, entered into eternal rest Sunday evening 9 p.m., after a long and painful illness, which she bore with a Christian spirit until the end. She was a noble, kindhearted mother, and endeared herself to all who knew her. Mrs. Summ was born in Wurtemburg, Germany, and emigrated to this country with her parents when a child, settling in the state of Ohio. In the year 1858 she united in marriage with the late J. George Summ (who passed away twenty-eight years ago), and settled in to town of Lowell. She had been a resident of this city for the past 36 years coming here in 1866 with her husband and four children. She leaves to mourn her loss four children; J. Geo. Summ, Mrs. C.W. Newman, Miss Etta of Ionia and Mrs. E. Werner, of Dubuque, Ia. Funeral services at St. Johns Lutheran church, at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
