The Ionia Standard, Friday, July 12, 1895

Catharine, wife of Fred Summers, whose home was in Chicago, died at the 
residence of George Humphreys, in South Ionia, of consumption, at 1 o’clock 
Tuesday a.m., at age of 28.  Deceased leaves a daughter seven years old.  Two 
sisters reside in Ionia, Mrs. George Humphreya and Mrs. Patrick T. Belen.  
Funeral from Catholic church at 8 o’cocl Wednesday morning.
