Ionia Daily Sentinel
Funeral services for Alvin E. Sumner, 69, who died Saturday evening at the 
home of his stepdaughter, Mrs. Harry Kennedy, Webster Court, were held from 
the Myers Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock with the Rev. Henry 
Hanson officiating.  Interment was at the Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were Harry 
Kennedy, Wayne Baldwin, Walter Brown and William Droste.
