Ionia Standard - Fri. July 28, 1890

Asa Sumner, of Berlin, died very suddenly Thursday morning at about 8 o’clock. 
His death was caused by heart disease. He was 64 years of age, and was a 
respected citizen of Berlin township. He was a member of the G.A.R. post of 
this village. Funeral services at the Methodist church at 10:30 a.m.
