ORANGE SUICIDE-
MELVIN SUMNERKILL HIMSELF BY HANGING IN BARN
About Noon Today - Body Found An Hour Later by Hugh Gallaway - Suicide was 
Unmarried and Lived With His Mother

Melvin Sumner, an unmarried man, about 30 years of age residing with his mother 
in Orange, hung  himself in the barn at noon today. The body was found at 1:30 
by Hugh Galloway. No motive is known for the deed.

Sumner lived with his mother, Mrs. Wm. Sumner, and a brother, Allie. Their farm 
is three quarters of a mile north and one mile east of Tremayne's Corners.
