MRS. SUNDERLIN IS CLAIMED BY DEATH EARLY ON SUNDAY

OLD RESIDENT OF COUNDY DIES FOLLOWING ATTACKS OF HEART DISEASE.

Mrs. Anna P. Sunderlin died suddenly at her residence, 223 Lafayette street. 
She was ill but a short time and her death was entirely unlooked for. Her 
son and daughter, Harry and Miss Darcie Sunderlin, were awakened by sounds 
of difficult breathing, such as the mother had experienced before but from 
which she had always found relief.

The attack apparently (???) but was followed by further attacks and death 
succeeded within a short time. Mrs. Sunderlin had been of her usual health 
Saturday and had been out as usual. She had made plans for attending church 
on Sunday, according to her usual custom.

      Ionia Resident 35 Years.
Mrs. Sunderlin had been an Ionia resident for the past 35 years and previous 
to that time resided in Hubbardston and East Plains from New York state with  
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paris Corey. Mrs. Sunderlin was a member of the 
Presbyterian church of this city for a number of years. 

Three children survive, Miss Ruby Sunderlin of Lansing, Harry Sunderlin and 
Miss Dacie Sunderlin of Ionia. Her husband, A.A. Sunderlin died 23 years 
ago. Miss Ruby Sunderlin was notified of her mother's death early Sunday 
morning and made a rapid trip to Ionia by automobile arriving here early in 
the morning. 

The funeral will be held at the residence Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock. 
Rev. M.I. Marshall of Lansing officiating.
