Sentinel-Std. - Tuesday Jan. 18, 1938

Funeral services for Harry E. Sunderlin, 68, retired mail carrier and 
resident of Ionia, were held from the Myers funeral home on East Main 
street, Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock with the Rev . A.J. Westmaas, 
pastor of the First Presbyterian church, conducting the services.

Members of the Elks' lodge of Ionia and Ionia mail carriers attended the 
services in a body.

Bearers were Henry Voelker, Fred Mason, Richard Vosper, J.H. Higbee, A.J. 
Hemingway and Charles Morse.

Floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. C.E. Hathaway and Miss Gertrude 
Zank.

Those attending the services from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. E.A. 
Freiermuth of Jackson, Mrs. A.R. Gibbons of Bronxville, New York, Mrs. 
George M. Clark; Miss Mary Dougherty and Richard Amerson of Lansing.

Interment was in the family lot at Highland Park cemetery.
