The Portland Review and Observer, Thursday, October 11, 1951

Charles Sunior, 78, of route 3, Portland, was found dead in bed at his home 
Tuesday morning.  Funeral services are being held this (Thurs.) afternoon, at 
2:00 at Neller Funeral Home, Rev. Keith Avery officiating.  Burial will be in 
Danby cemetery.

Surviving are the wife, Edna; daughter, Mrs. Florence Slusher, of Allen, 
Mich.; son, Charles R. Sunior, of Hastings; three step-sons, Roy Loomis, of 
Toledo, Ohio, Archie Williams, of Dayton, Ohio, and Levi Curtis, of Dowagiac.  
There are 21 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Bearers will be Claude Plant, Ellsworth Lear, William Willemin, Loyd Phillips, 
Zene Ward and John Stemler.

The deceased was born in Alexis, Ohio, on Feb. 17, 1873.
