Portland Review – Thursday, 29 November 1951
Mrs. Edna Sunior, 78 passed away at her home here Sunday evening. Funeral 
services were held Wednesday afternoon at Neller Funeral home, Rev. Keith 
Avery officiating.  Burial was in Danby Cemetery.  Mrs. Sunior was born March 
13, 1873 in Barry Co.  Her husband, Charles, died on Oct 9 of this year.  The 
deceased, is survived by four sons, William Williams, of Dayton, Ohio; Roy 
Loomis, of Toledo, Ohio; Rex Curtis of Dowagiac, Richard Sunior, of Hastings; 
stepdaughter, Mrs. Florence Slusher of Allen.  Also surviving are a brother 
Howard Loomis, of Lake Station; sisters, Mrs. Lydia Shields of Kalamo; Mrs. 
Arvilla Rousch of Nashville.

There are 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Bearers were Claude 
Plant, Zene Ward, John Stemler, Lloyd Phillips, William Willemin and Ben York.
