He was born in Austria, January 8, 1862 and served his apprenticeship as a cabinet maker and carpenter in Vienna. Mr. Supina came to the United States as a young man and married Frances Ziska in Owosso in 1910. They lived most of their married life in Ionia. She preceded him in death in 193. Mr. Supina was a coach carpenter for the Pere Marquette and later C & O railroad, retiring in 1950. After his retirement, he kept active in his garden and around his home with carpentry and cabinet work. He was a member of SS Peter and Paul church and the C&O Railway Veterans Employees association. One son, Amil, preceded him in death in march 1977. He is survived by one son, Joseph, of rural Ionia, four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services are Friday at 10 am from SS Peter and Paul church with Rev. Father Edward Orlowski officiating. Burial is in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Parish rosary will be recited at the Leddick funeral home Thursday at 8 pm. The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
