Born at Putnam, Conn., September 30, 1913, she was the daughter of Daniel and Olive LeVell Donovan. Her husband, Gilbert, died in 1964. She was a member of the Ladies Literary club. Surviving are three daughters, Ann Sutphen of Belding, Mrs. Deirdre Phillips of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Susan Loper of Dayton, Ohio; two grandchildren; two sisters, Dierdre Donovan of Belding, Mrs. Olive Noble of Wilmington, Calif.; brother, Donald Donovan of Long Beach, Calif. Funeral services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at First Congregational church in Belding. Rev. Wilford Wood will officiate and interment will be at River Ridge cemetery, Belding. Mrs. Sutphen will be at Huffman funeral home in Belding until noon Friday. Family will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A memorial has been established for Belding Library and Michigan Association for Mentally Retarded.
