Pleasant. He was born to James and Elizabeth (Pentony) Sutton on June 23, 1927, in Ionia. Thomas was a corrections officer for the State of Michigan. He served his country in the U.S Army. Thomas enjoyed woodworking, carving, archery, traveling, camping, dancing, playing cards, hunting, fishing and walking. Surviving him are a son, Ty Lee Sutton of Clearwater, Florida; Grandson, Ty Jr. of Lakeland, Florida; nieces and nephews, Jerry (Sally) Wright, Larry (Jane) Wright, Bill (Mary) Sutton, Gary Griswold and Marilyn (Dan) Argersinger. Also surviving is a special friend Mary Schoner and sons, Ralph (Kathy), David (Darla), Dale (Tracy), Mike (Deb); daughter, Beth (Ron) Richardson; 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 7 brothers and sisters, Bert, Inez, Theron, Virilene, Stephen, Wayne and James. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11:30am at the Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City. Pastor Ray Freeze will officiate. Visitation will begin 1 hour before the service. Interment will be in Palo Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Charity of Choice.
