Ionia Sentinel Standard, 17 Feb 1993

Linda L. Sutton, 55, of Hastings, formerly of Ionia, died Sunday at the 
Midwestern Regional Medical Center in Zion, Illinois.  She was born July 26, 
1937, in Grand Ledge, the daughter of Allen and Pauline Hines Kingsley.

She was raised in Grand Ledge, Portland, and Ionia, attended schools in 
Portland and Ionia, and was graduated from Hastings Adult Education in 1977.

She married Maynard G. Sutton on August 29, 1955 and moved to Hastings.  She 
was employed as a receptionist in Hastings offices for several years and was a 
member of the First United Methodist Church, A.A.R.P., and G.W.T.A.

She is survived by her husband, Maynard; two sons, Michael of Santa Paula, 
California, and Douglas of San Diego; two daughters, Tammy Alexander of Midland 
and Brenda Armour of Hastings; eight grandchildren; four sisters; and one 
brother.

Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, at the Wren Funeral Home, Hastings, 
with the Rev. Philip L. Brown officiating.  The family will be at the funeral 
home from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.  Burial will be in the Tuttle Cemetery.  A 
memorial has been established for the Cancer Treatment Centers, 1616 23rd 
Street, Zion, Illinois, 60099, in care of the funeral home.
