Swain, 83, who died at her home near Palo Saturday night after a long sickness of heart disease, will be held from the Palo Methodist Episcopal church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, sun time. Burial will be in the Palo cemetery by the side of her late husband David Swain. Two nephews, A.D. Alchin of Battle Creek and L.F. Vosburgh of New York and a niece,Mrs. Charles Tabor of Toledo O., are theonly near relatives surviving. Additional Comments: Subsequent post: Funeral services for Mrs. Nellie Swain, who died at her home in Palo Saturday after a long illness were held from the Methodist church of which she was a member, Saturday, conducted by her former pastor, Rev. Holcomb, of Greenville. She was buried in the Palo cemetery beside her husband who died several years ago. Since the death of her husband she was lived alone, often spending the winters with a niece in Toledo. Having no near relatives, her neighbor, Fanny Edwards , has cared for her and looked after her needs during all of her years of poor health. A niece, Mrs. Tabor of Toledo was here to attend the services.
