Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Tues. Dec. 30, 1958

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Vanzee funeral chapel at 
Grand Rapids, for Charles Sway, 50, who died Monday morning.

Mr. Swan was born June 22, 1908, in Grand Rapids, the son of Mr. and Mrs. 
Herbert J. Swan, and had lived all his life in that area. He was married in 
1937 to Jean Nemmers.

He was a member of the Methodist church.

Besides his wife, Jean, he is survived by a son, Rex of Grand Rapids; his 
father, Herbert of Lowell; three brothers, Max of Grand Rapids, Rex of Belding 
and Herbert, Jr. of Lowell, four sisters, Mrs. Virginia Baker of Grand Rapids, 
Mrs. Mary Jackson of California, Mrs. Lee Holland and Mrs. Tom Robinson of 
Ionia.
