Sentinel-Std. - Thurs. Aug. 9, 1979

SHERIDAN- Mrs. Sylvia (Pat) Swartz, 90, of Freeport, died Wednesday at her home. 

She was born May 21, 1889 in Sheridan, the daughter of John and Angeline Carter. 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray in 1962.

She has been a Freeport resident since 1962 and was formerly of St. Ignace.

Survivors include one brother, Howard Carter of Sheridan; several nieces and 
nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Stebbins-Simpson Funeral 
Home in Sheridan with Rev. Gerald Bowen officiating.

Memorial contributions may be left to the Michigan Heart Association with 
envelopes available at the funeral home.

The family will be at the funeral home to receive friend and relatives Friday 
from 2-4 p.m. and 7-8:30 p.m.
