Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Mon. March 23, 1964

Mrs. Olive F. Sweet, 47, of 113 Greenfield Drive, wife of Edlin Sweet, died at 
11 p.m., March 21 at Ionia County Memorial hospital. She had been ill the past 
three years.

A lifelong resident, she was born February 8, 1917, the daughter of Edwin S. 
and Ola Snell Yeomans, and was a graduate of Rockford College, Rockford Ill. 

She was married November 22, 1937.

Surviving are her husband, Edlin; four daughters, Mrs. William Powers of 
Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Russell Denker, Jr., Catherine and Joan, students at 
Michigan State university, East Lansing; two grandchildren; two brothers, 
Gerald and Edwin R. Yeomans of Ionia.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Boynton funeral home 
with burial at Easton cemetery. The Rev. Harold A. Jayne will officiate.

A Memorial to First Methodist church has been established.
