The Ionia Sentinel, Tuesday, December 26, 1967
Funeral services for Leo R. Sweet, 60, will be Wednesday at 3 pm at Myers 
funeral home.  Burial will be in Balcom cemetery.

Mr. Sweet, who lived at 827 West Washington, was dead on arrival by ambulance 
at 8:15 am on Monday at Ionia County Memorial hospital.

He was born April 26, 1907, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Sweet.  He was 
employed at Smith Plastics and their predecessors the past 27 years and a 
member of the Moose lodge.  June 5, 1967 he and his wife celebrated their 31st 
wedding anniversary.

Surviving are his wife Pauline; three sons, Kenneth, Richard and Steven of 
Ionia; a daughter Janice Sweet of Charlottesville, Va., and four grandchildren.
