Ionia Sentinel, Jul 1989

Frank W. Swift, 80, of 1059 Emerson St., Lake Odessa, died July 29, 1989 at 
Pennock Hospital in Hastings.

He was born Jan. 1, 1909 in Sebawaing and graduated from Edmore High School in 
1928.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and he and his brother 
Deforest owned and operated the Lake Odessa Greenhouse from 1946-77.  He was a 
member of the Lake Odessa Lodge F & AM #395.

Surviving are one sister, Dorothy Gill of Edmore; one brother, Deforest Swift 
of Lake Odessa and several nieces and nephews.

Private graveside and internment services will be held in Vinewood Cemetery in 
Edmore.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Lake Odessa Ambulance 
Service. Arrangements by Koops Funeral Chapel of Lake Odessa.
