Saranac- Virginia E. Swinehart, 61, of 283 Mill Street died Sunday at Valley 
Baptist Medical Center.

She was born in Lyons April 22, 1919 the daughter of Frank and Virginia 
Scott Huey.

She was a member of the Business and Professional Women of Ionia and the 
Literary Club of Ionia. She attended Ionia and Lyons schools.

She married Floyd Swinehart Dec. 31, 1936, in Ithaca, Mich.

Survivors include her husband, Floyd, three sons, Nelson of Coleman, Gary of 
Ionia, and Riley of Grand Rapids two daughters, Mrs. Linda Renucci of Ionia, 
Mrs. Gary (Janet) Monda of Nevada; three brothers, Frank James Huey of South 
Dakota, George Huey of Florida and Angus Huey of Florida; three sisters, 
Mrs. Marshall (Catherine) Sprik of Rockford, Mrs. Tim (Irene) Tiffany of 
Montana, and Mrs. Kenneth (Almeda) Zwyghuizen of Sparta; 20 grandchildren 
and two great grandchildren. 

Services will be Friday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with 
the Rev. James Frank officiating.

Burial will be in Saranac Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Thursday from 2 40 4 
and 7 to 8:30 p.m.

A memorial fund has been established.
