Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, Oct. 31, 1967

James S. Symons, 56, of 102 High, died Monday at St. Mary's hospital in Grand 
Rapids where he had been a patient for the past nine days.

Born October 19, 1911 in Chicago, Ill, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. James 
Symons.

Surviving are his wife Mary Louise; two sons, James S. of Holland and John W. 
of San Mateo, Calif.; one grandchild, one sister, Mrs. Adelaide Gwinn of 
Tucson, Ariz.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at Myers funeral home with Rev. 
Lester officiating.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society.
