James D. Tabor, 53, of rural Pewamo, died Tuesday at Carson City Hospital.

He was born May 23, 1929 in Lansing, the son of Charles and Julia Tabor.  He 
was a lifetime Pewamo resident.

Survivors include one sister, Louise McKenna of Carson City; one brother, 
Norwood, of Pewamo; and one aunt, Marion Beahan of Pewamo.

Funeral mass will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church in 
Hubbardston, with the Rev. Eugene Fox officiating.  Rosary will be said today 
and Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Schnepp Funeral Home in Carson City.  Burial will 
be in the Mary Knoll Cemetery in Carson City.  Friends and relatives may call 
at the funeral home today and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
