Tabor, 72, life long resident of this community passed away at his home 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24th. He was born just east of town May 3, 1860 and when 15 or 16 years old, he moved with his parents to the farm one mile north of town, where he lived until 19 years ago, coming to the village then, leaving his son Henry in charge of the farm. On March 2, 1887 he was united in marriage to Millie Schoolmaker. Two years ago he had a stroke from which he never fully recovered and the past year has been a great sufferer. He leaves besides his wife, one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Jeffords, Carson City; four sons, Fred, Lansing; Charles W. and Henry, Hubbardston; and Frank, Carson City, and 10 grandchildren. Just about a hour before he passed away, his youngest granddaughter was born at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Tabor in Carson City. The funeral will be Thursday, 2 p.m. at the home.
