B. H. Succop officiating. He was the third youngest of a family of 10 children and was born in the house which was his home at time of death. The bearers were boy friends; Will and Herman Steinke, Willie Hass and Carl Warnke. Two brothers, Ferdinand and Robert Tafel and Emil Hass, of Milwaukee, and a sister, Mrs. Fred Thomas, of Cannonsburg, Kent county, where her to attend the funeral.
