Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Jan. 22, 1934

Richard A. Tafel, eight months old, died early Sunday at the home of his 
parents, Mr. and Mrs. F.R. Tafel, of 653 North Jefferson street, Ionia. Besides 
his father and mother he leaves twelve brothers and sisters, they are Mrs. J. 
P. Reuiter, of Reis, Michigan, Edward, of Detroit; Olraine of Saginaw, 
Florence, Ferdinand, Elnore, Dorothy, Raymond, Anita, William, Esther and 
Gerald at home. Mrs. John Tafel, a grandmother, of Ionia and August Lempkie, a 
grandfather, of Jackson. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the 
house. Rev. B. H. Succop will conduct the service. Interment at Oak Hill 
cemetery.
