She was born Elizabeth Parle, daughter of John and Catherine Parle, of Parnell district, March 29, 1878. In May, 1899 she married William Talbot who died in Smyrna in 1918. She left Smyrna for Belding where she had resided for 27 years. Mrs. Talbot was a member of St. Joseph Catholic church and the Rosary society. Mrs. Talbot is survived by four daughters, Mrs. John Dehn, Mrs. Thomas Byrne, and Mrs. Milton Cooper, all of Belding, and Mrs. George Sutherland of Greenville; four sons, Joseph C., Syracuse, New York, John F. of Ionia, William P. of Utica, New York and Edward R. of Cazenovia, New York; 14 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Kate Byrne of Belding; and one brother, Patrick Parle, of Belding. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning at 9 o’clock with the Rev. Fr. Charles Steves officiating. Interment will be in St. Patrick’s cemetery in Parnell. Rosary will be recited at the family home at 213 East Division street in Belding Wednesday evening.
