Talbot, 50, of 415 W. Washington St., Belding, died Sunday, August 3 in the Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids. She has been in ill health for several years and in the hospital for two weeks. Born November 30, 1897, in South Rogers, Presque Isle County, Michigan, she was the daughter of Walley H. and Mary (Herzog) Hein. Mrs. Talbot had been a resident of Belding for 50 years. She had worked at the Jolly Kids factory and silk mills. Until the time of her death she had been employed at the Gibson Refrigerator in Belding. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Elwin (Lottie) William of Belding and Mrs. Arden (Irma) Youngs of Engadine, Michigan; and two brothers, Walley T. Hein of Atlanta, Georgia, and Everett F. Hein of Long Beach, California. Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 6, at the Huffman Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Van Zyl, a nephew of Lucas, Michigan officiating. Interment was in the River Ridge Cemetery.
