Mrs. Emily Talcott, a life-long resident of this county, passed away at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Exie Trowbridge, in Ronald, Sunday …[unreadable] …  
Mrs. Talcott who was nearly 83 years of age, suffered a stroke a number of 
weeks ago.

She was the widow of Chauncey Talcott, who passed away in 1902.  Mrs. Talcott 
was born at Lyons, May 7, 1843, and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John White.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Exie Trowbridge, of Ronald, and Mrs. 
Della Moore of Palo.  She is also survived by four grandchildren and eight 
great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the residence of Mrs. Trowbridge Thursday 
afternoon at 1:30 sun time, and from the Palo Methodist Episcopal church at 2 
o’clock.  Rev. Alexander Luther will officiate at the service.  Burial will be 
made at Palo.
