The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Saturday, November 9, 1974
Charles Talcott, 47, of 295 Vosper, Saranac, died Friday evening at the 
Butterworth hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born March 3, 1927, in Saranac the son of Keith and Gertrude Locker 
Talcott.  He graduated from Saranac high school in 1945 and was a veteran of 
World War II.  He was past commander of the VFW post of Saranac and member of 
the Saranac American Legion.  For many years he was supervisor for the Saranac 
Manufacturing Company.  His father died in 1959.

Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Gertrude Talcott; two brothers, William and 
David and three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Knop, Mrs. Patricia Wyman and Mrs. 
Shirley Swiger, all of Saranac.

The body will be at the Morris Roetman funeral home at Saranac until noon 
Monday when it will be taken to the Galilee Baptist church for services at 
1:30 p.m.
