Lowell Ledger, 17 Jun 1976

Mrs. Rose Tallant, aged 87, of 224 S. Jefferson St., Lowell, passed away Sunday,
June 13, 1976.  Active in many clubs, Mrs. Tallant made her home in the South
Boston area before moving to Lowell several years ago.  

Dr. Richard Greenwood of the First Congregational Church of Lowell conducted the
funeral services held Tuesday afternoon, June 15, at the Roth Gerst Funeral
Home.  She was laid to rest in the South Boston Cemetery

Besides a daughter, Mrs. Arthur (Bernadeen) Norton of Lowell; she leaves a
brother, John (Jack) Fahrni of Lowell; a sister Mrs. Alice Blahnik, of Lowell;
and one grandchild.
