Ionia Daily Sentinel, 10 Mar 1880

James Tallman, one of the earliest settlers, died at his old home in Otisco, on 
Monday, at the age of 88 or 89 years.  The funeral takes place tomorrow, 
(Thursday), at 1 p.m., at the Christian Church, Belding.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried 
in Otisco Cemetery.]
