TANNER, IVAH ROSELLA (ROBINSON) (MRS. ABRAM L. M.):
   IONIA SENTINEL-STANDARD, MI, Monday, September 12, 1977, page 3:  "Obituaries
- IVAH TANNER - IONIA - Ivah Tanner, 76, of 649 Union street died Sunday
afternoon in Sheridan hospital.  She was born September 12, 1900 in Lake Odessa,
the daughter of Mr and Mrs George Robinson.  She married Abram Tanner September
13, 1920.
   Mrs. Tanner retired as a teacher in the Saranac school system in 1962.  She
had taught in other Ionia area schools and was a member of the CCW association,
Dorcas association, Retired Teacher's association and the Michigan Education
association.
   Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs Stanley (Marjorie) Warren
of Sheridan and Ruth Tanner; two sisters Mrs Ottille Wiersma and Mrs Hazelle
Stauffer of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; two granddaughters, five
great-grandchildren and one niece.
   Services are Wednesday at 2 pm in First Baptist church, with Rev. Roy A.
Pitts of First Baptist church and Rev William Raymor, Jr. of Crystal Church of
the Brethren officiating.  Burial is in Balcom cemetery.  A memorial fund is
established for the church.
   The family will receive friends and relatives at the Myers-Roetman funeral
home Monday 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm."
