He had only been sick two or three days, and was not taken to hospital until Sunday. It was found then that the disease had made such progress that the operation could be of no benefit. Florence was nearly 19 years old. He went to Chicago in April last, and both he and his brother had secured excellent positions there and stood high in the favor of their employers. He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Perry Tanner of this city who have the sympathy of many friends in this great affliction. Remains arrived here at 10:27 this morning, accompanied by the brother. Funeral services at Church of Christ, Friday morning at 10:30.
