Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, 8 Oct 1940

Funeral service for Roy H. Tasker were held Sunday at 1:00 o’clock at the farm 
home in Campbell township.  Mr. Tasker was born in Odessa township Oct. 18, 
1889.  He was married to Miss Rose Schnable, of Ionia in 1913.  He had been in 
ill health a number of years and died Friday morning.  He leaves besides his 
wife, two sons, Malcolm, of Detroit, Marshall at home, and one daughter, Mrs. 
Phylis Sedore, of Grand Ledge; one sister, Mrs. Blanche Durkee, Alva Tasker and 
Clarence Tasker, all of Lake Odessa.  Burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
