SHERIDAN - Blanche H. Tasker, 85, of Palo died Wednesday, January 12 at Carson 
City Hospital.  She was born December 15, 1891 at Marilla New York.  Mrs. 
Tasker had been a resident of Palo for 72 years and was a member of Palo 
Baptist Church.  She served as Palo Postmaster for 15 years and operated the 
Palo General Store.  Her husband, George, preceded her in death in 1961.  
Three sons, Norman, Victor and Robert also preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Charles A. Tasker Sr. and Lawrence E. Tasker both 
of Palo, Catherine Laskowsky of Lansing and Hester Davies of Van Nuys, 
California, 21 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Services Saturday at 
2 p.m. at Palo Baptist Church.  Internment at Palo Cemetery.
