Ionia County News – Thursday 25 July 1957
Mrs. Hannah Tasker, 69, of Lake Odessa, died Tuesday night at 7:00 pm at the 
Pennock Hospital in Hastings, where she had been a patient for the past 18 
days.  She was born February 5, 1888, in Berlin, Germany the daughter of John 
and Louise Graul Miske.  They came to the Lake Odessa area when Mrs. Tasker 
was two years old.  She was married to Alva Tasker May 30, 1905 at Lake 
Odessa.  They lived on a farm northwest of Lake Odessa for 27 years and have 
lived in Lake Odessa the past twenty two years.  Mrs. Tasker attended the Lake 
Odessa Methodist Church and was a member of the Showerman Aid and a charter 
member of the Friendship Club.

Surviving besides her husband is a son Harold of Delton and one grandson, 
Harold Jr., and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral service will be held 
Friday, at 2:00 pm at the Pickens Funeral Chapel, with interment in Lakeside 
Cemetery.  Rev Paul Robinson will officiate.
