Alva G. Tasker Passes Away
Alva G. Tasker, 83, passed away early Saturday morning at his home on North Fourth 
Avenue.

A lifelong resident of Odessa Township, he was the son of John and Jane (Walter)
Tasker and married Hannah Miske in 1904. They resided on the farm north west of the village
until he retired and moved to their present home 23 years ago. Mrs. Tasker passed away in
July 1957,

Surviving are a son, Harold of Lake Odessa; one grandson, a granddaughter, two
great-grandchildren and a brother, Clarence of lake Odessa; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens Funeral Chapel. Rev. Marvin
Zimmerman officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery.
