Lake Odessa Wave-Thurs. Sept. 27. 1951

AUGUST TASKER DIED TUESDAY
August Tasker, 59, passed away unexpectedly at his farm residence on route 1, late 
Tuesday night from a heart ailment. He had been in ill health since last December.

Mr. Tasker, a lifelong resident of Carlton township, had spent his entire life on
the farm where he resided and his birthplace about a quarter of a mile north of his present
home. Surviving are his wife, Ruth, and a sister Mrs. Glenna Hines, all of Lake Odessa.

Funeral services will be held Friday at the Pickens chapel with burial in lakeside
cemetery. Rev. Raymond Durkee of Hickory Corners will officiate.
