George Tasker, 88 Died Wednesday
George Tasker, 88 died Wednesday morning in Blodgett hospital, Grand Rapids, where
he was taken two weeks ago following a year of failing health.

Mr. Tasker was born in Monroe county, N.Y., and came to Michigan with his parents
when a young boy . He was a farmer in Campbell township until retiring and moving to lake
Odessa about 33 years ago. His wife preceded him in death in 1930.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Becker, east of town, and Mrs. Ervin
Mishler of St. Johns, and one son Carl of Redwood City, Calif.;  also surviving are four
grandchildren, two brothers, Walter of West Odessa and Elmer of East Odessa; two sisters 
Mrs. Edith Towner of Newport beach, Cal., Mrs. William Valdeys of South Gate, Calif.; several
nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at the Pickens chapel at 2 Saturday afternoon with the
Rev. Raymond E. Durkee officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside.
