TASKER DIED AT HIS HOME FRIDAY Leaves Wife, Three Children, Two Brothers and One Sister, Funeral at the Home Sunday. Roy H. Tasker, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Tasker, deceased, passed away at his home in Campbell township, Friday, after a long illness and residence of 25 years on the same farm. Everything was done for his recovery and for his comfort that his devoted family could do. The funeral was held at the home Sunday afternoon. The Rev. E. H. Humphrey officiated. The pall bearers were Elmer, Walter and August Tasker, Jay and Fay Swiger and Mayford Richardson. Burial was at Lakeside cemetery. OBITUARY Roy Henry Tasker, son of John and Jane Tasker, was born October 18, 1889, in Odessa township and passed from this life October 4, 1940, at the age of 50 years, 11 months and 14 days. He was a loving and devoted husband and father, spending his life in the interests of his family. During the 25 years spent on the farm where he died, he endeared himself to many friends and neighbors who will miss him greatly. All of his life was spent in this community. He was married to Rose Schnabel of Lake Odessa on May 27, 1913. To this union were born three children; Marshall at home, Malcolm of Detroit and Phyllis of Grand Ledge. There are also two brothers, Alva and Clarence, and one sister, Mrs. Blanche Durkee, all of Lake Odessa.
