Taubert, passed away at 9 o’clock last evening, after an illness of only a few short weeks, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Julius Taubert, corner of Dexter and West Washington streets, and will be buried with Thelma E., her babe of ten days, in her arms, on tomorrow afternoon. The funeral service will be at the above home at 1:30. Interment in Oak Hill. Deceased was Eva M. Baldwin in her maidenhood, and was a loveable girl with a most gentle nature. She was the daughter of John Baldwin of Maple Rapids, and came with her father to Ionia when he was appointed a keeper at the S.H. of C. It was her nature to make and hold friends, and numbered many of them in this city. She was married to Mr. Taubert, in this city, on October 10th, last, since which time they have made Manitowoc their home, where the grief- stricken husband is employed in one of the furniture factories. Mrs. Walter Strong of Greenville, and Mrs. John Pease of Maple Rapids, are sisters of deceased, and she also has a brother. She came to Ionia from Manitowoc six weeks ago.
