Tucker Mary S. Fletcher was born in Rochester, New York, in 1842 and was married to Ervin W. Tucker in 1863, and died at her home in Indianapolis Feb. 17, 1919. There are three children; Clare G. of 1914 Hopkins Ave., Norwood, Ohio; Miss Ella, a teacher in the Indianapolis schools, and Mrs. Herbert W. Green, 650 E. 58th Street, Indianapolis. She is survived also by four grandchildren. Another grandson Sargeant Herbert E. Green, was killed in action in France July 16, 1918. Funeral was held at the home in Indianapolis and burial beside her husband in South Boston cemetery Feb. 19. Mrs. Herbert W. Green accompanied the body here and remained over a few days visiting relatives. Mrs. Tucker was the eighth child of John and Eunice Fletcher and the last survivor of a family of twelve children. In the early days Mr. Tucker built and operated a rake and cradle factory at Tuckertown, which at that time was a busy place.
