Daily Sentinel – Saturday, 5 January 1918
Mrs. Vincent Taylor was buried this week at Portland from the Baptist church 
there.  The W. R. C. and G. A. R. attended the funeral in a body.  She was 77 
years of age.  There were no children in the family but Mr. and Mrs. Vincent 
brought up Otto Taylor of Ionia and Archie Green of Collins.  Among those at 
the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Otto Taylor of Ionia, Mrs. Susan Daley of Ovid, 
Mrs. Robert Cooley of Fowler, and Mrs. W. C. Mounteer of Grand Rapids.
