He was taken down five or six weeks ago with la grippe, and has since been confined to the house until last week, when he seemed to be improving, and was able to be out some. On Saturday night, however, he was stricken with paralysis, and his condition became at once critical. Deceased has been a resident of city about ten years, and of county about twenty years. He first came to Easton, where he purchased a farm, and then came to town to enter business. He has lately been in the express business, and delivered goods for Kneeland Merriam. He was prominent in the Church of Christ, where he long served as an officer, and was recognized as a conscientious man of the most sterling integrity. His age was 60 years and two days. He leaves a wife and 8 children, viz: Mrs. Burt A. Arnold, Easton; Mrs. Wm. Renwick, Keene; Wm. R. Taylor, H.G. Taylor, Frank L. Taylor, Mrs. Glenn Musser, Rena Taylor, and Albert Taylor; all of city. Time of funeral will be announced tomorrow.
