Services for George Taylor, 73, of Berlin township will be conducted by the Rev.
Glen McCarty Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Morris funeral home in Saranac.  Interment
will be in Saranac cemetery.  Taylor was fatally injured Saturday morning in an
auto accident on US-16 at Clarksville road and died before an ambulance could
arrive.  Three other men were injured in the same accident.

He was born in Michigan, May 4, 1879.  He lived on Goodemoot road in Berlin
township for many years.  Following the death in February of his brother,
William, with whom he lived he moved to the Ionia Rest Home to live.  Last week
he was reported to have moved in with Arthur Summers, 71, of Clarksville, driver
of the car in which Taylor was killed.

George Taylor, 73, of Clarksville, killed Saturday in a two-car collision 15
miles southwest of Ionia.  Taylor was riding in a car driven by Arthur Summers,
71, when it collided with one driven by Army Sgt. Charles M. Miskian, 22, of
Detroit.
